the centre of fulfilment

2018-9

I was looking for the centre, though I didn’t know what I meant by this.
In February 2018 I inputted every place I’d ever lived (by choice - so after moving out of my parents’ home and for over one month) into geomidpoint.com using ‘weight as time’. At that moment, it told me that my midpoint (by centre of gravity) was an Amazon Fulfilment Centre in Coalville (a town in Leicestershire, England). I rented a car and went there alone and didn’t have a very good day. But it did make me think about the centre in relation to fulfilment and that not being attached to a geographical location.
So I made a drawing tool to attach to the head and a contraption to clip some paper to and hang from a tree. By standing under the paper and swaying from side to side, back and forth, I tried to find what felt like centre within myself. The drawings below record this experiment.
